Frequently asked questions
First, book a free consultation call with Ben by clicking HERE or calling (03) 9111 2664. Ben will ask a few questions about what's going on for you, explain how he works, and answer any questions you might have. If you feel it's a good fit, we will book you in for your first appointments.
Not a phone person? If you don't feel comfortable booking a call, you can get things started by reaching out via email (hello@zonewellness.com.au) or using the form on our contact page.
First sessions are usually booked within one-to-four weeks of the initial call with Ben, but this is subject to availability and an exact date can be discussed during your consultation call.
We recommend booking your first and second session within a week or two of each other to ensure there is momentum and you can get started on your goals as soon as possible. These can both be booked during the consultation call.
*Please note that Zone Wellness does not have the capacity to respond in a crisis or offer immediate support. For crisis services, see "I need support right now - what can I do?".
During your initial session, you can expect a warm and confidential environment where you'll have the opportunity to share your thoughts, feelings, and concerns. The first few appointments typically involve discussing your reasons for seeking help and collaborating with Ben to clarify your goals for therapy.
These initial sessions are also a chance to make sure Ben is a good fit for your personality and needs, as we know that one of the best predictors of outcomes in therapy is a strong relationship.
Zone Wellness does not have the capacity to respond in a crisis or offer immediate support. There are a number of services that offer this type of support via phone, chat, or email. All are confidential and available 24 hours a day, 7 days per week:
